Clickety Click...Clickety Click

I really should stay away from the magazine Aisle when  I go shopping
lol

There are just too many lovely things to catch my eye, I'm like a kiddie in a sweet shop
haha

SO... what did I buy... knitting!

This cute bunny was just too much...how could I walk on by
lol

so the clicking of  needles will be heard till Easter...

whether mine comes out looking like this cute bunny is another matter
lol

and just look at these Owls :))

now tell me...who could resist

lol

  7. Hi dear Summer , so dear lady a change in tack again from you , as one ventures into the field of knitting , Knitting originally , using needles, stems from Egypt in the 11th century , where beautiful stockings and socks were made . But evidence of knitting is evident from as early as the 3rd-5th century Romano-Egyptians as in there stunning toe-socks, through trade links knitting soon past to the Americas that had European colonization , and then on to europe , where muslim knitters living in Spain had work found dating back to the 12th and 13th century ,and before you knew it it had spread to England , France , Germany and many other countries but in a lesser degree .The word knitting comes from the word Knot, from the Dutch verb knutten, which is similar to our Old English word cnyttan, to knot..so you enter an art well established in the world dear lady . And why KNOT :))))..For whom could refuse those big eyes and floppy lugs ( ears ) , why the creature far jumps into your arms as you walk by hahahaha , that or the news agents , see's you coming down the street and quickly drags the magazine rack out by the entrance hahahahaha , they do it with the sweeties ya know have you noticed how they put the sweeties buy the check out , so if you have kids with you they pester you while you wait to be served , and your drawn to the scoffs ( sweets ) while your waiting to be served too...they do it on purpose dear Summer , you could no more resist that BIG eyed bunny , than I resist those bags of popcorn , buy one get one free , don't fight it dear Summer , ya only pass through once ya know , this isn't a stage rehearsal , it's opening night and we are centre stage hahahahaha , you go for it girl ,grasp the moment and take the BIG eyed bunny home ya know it makes sense hahahahaha ..ooohhhhh dear they come for Ban soon I think maybe yes ..hahahaha ...You will enjoy this art as well me thinks dear summer , and witt time be able to speed up in stitches per min :)))) . My Late mother my the forces bless her soul , used to make these gorgeous creatures amongst many others for charity fund raisers . The kids love them dear Summer there all soft and squishy allowing the kids to hug them to there hearts content ..and there adaptable theres every cartoon , and kid hero out there to be knitted by the same method ..Dearest Summer you go for it , as all things ..bit by bit ..look forward to seeing Bugsy in the near future ..happy clicking dear Summer ..my respects as always to you dear lady , Ban:)))))))

  12. I am a magazine junkie as well. Love British magazines, but pay a huge premium for them here in Canada.
