I fit nicely..dont I.. :) And Baby Racoon Block #8




Oh I fit nicely in your fruit bowl mum..don't you think LOL I know I cant get me tail in but I got the rest of me in hahaha he was fast asleep curled up in what was my fruit bowl LOL 

Hi Everyone, hope you all had a good sunny and happy weekend. I've been working on my baby afghan and baby Raccoon is now finished.


This is the blanket so far. Only 5 more babies to go and they all look so cute :))

    I love your cat in a bowl, picture. They are such funny little characters, aren't they? The other day my cat, who has a bell and as a result has never brought me home a gift of a hunted anything (other than the occasional grasshopper, which he catches, and then releases IN THE HOUSE. A grasshopper landing on your face in the middle of the night does not make for good humor) Anyway, I digress, Kip has never brought me home any dead animal gifts... until the other day, when he showed up with a dead mouse - which was still in its trap. Yes, he dragged the entire mouse trap, with dead mouse intact, to my door. Then he made a huge deal like he'd caught and killed it himself, instead of just finding it. Proud as heck, he was.
    I didn't have the heart to tell him it doesn't really count.

Hi dearest Summer :))) how do you find the time ,hahahaha ..its been one extremely busy year for you this year which is still ongoing and still you find the time to create :))))) you are are truly a beacon to transpire to :)))..so what what wonders have your fingers worked for us on this occasion ;)))))) .Hello Mr Raccoon ( also spelt Racoon ) from the Powhatan with Algonquian roots steming back some 2,500 to 3,000 years ,the Powhatan not a written language but one that describes the Raccoon as ''ahrah-koon-em '' meaning "[the] one who rubs, scrubs and scratches with its hands"known to others as the one who takes everything with its hands ,and or engages in as we see the rat that hand washing aspect ..and why not when you take all with the hand one must keep them clean :))))), the Raccoon plays as many other creatures that enter into the native Americans world on a daily basis into there mythologies , spiritual stories that are deeply based in Nature and are rich with the symbolism of seasons, weather, plants, animals, earth, water, sky and fire all of cause of The omniscient Great Spirit , called Wakan Tanka among the Sioux and Gitche Manitou in Algonquian..differing names but all describing '' The Great Mystery '' the connection of the universal with the earth and its many diverse all living seasons ,plants ,animals ,water ,sky ,fire ....for the one is all and all are the one and play a great part of tribal gatherings with dance, rhythm, songs and trance , for instance the sun dance....This creation I so love dearest Summer ,its chaffed cheeks giving that bandit look designed to breakup the face and hide the eyes ,from would be predators , plumed majestic tail thats been toned lighter to the centre to give one that almost raised three D appearance that becomes part of the dark tree branch against daylight stripe that so camouflages the climbing Raccoon ,and as one would expect of this beautiful busy creature his /her use of those extremely dextrose hands .This creature is one of natures very intelligent beings ,capable of great escapes ,and a memory of learning that can recall from three years prior plus truly one of the the ones finer creations :))))))..My eye is equally drawn to the stain glass windowed wings of the Dragon fly ,the fragmented light striking its vained wings at differing refractive indexed light as the tensions within the wings tilt drag thrust angle and bank to give this beautiful creature not only its beauty but immense speed..all iced with the presence of the delicate toned prairie flower no doubt not plucked for its fragrant scent but more for its nutrients and herbal attributes .what gathering more could describe Wakan Tanka or Gitche Manitou than this trio of life forces ,truly a beautiful set scene and only one of many to capture all that is new born and full of life here on your Afghan blanket , and still five more babies to go ..truly a cumulation of love interwoven within every stitch ,and with every stitch brings forth a new life :)))))) ..truly a wondrous creation dear Summer ,and one so lovingly created for a future new life ..with every new born creature this piece gains in is magnitude of loving ..truly wonderful dear Summer ..truly especially given the added work load you have faced and are still facing this year in your total revamp of your home ..and that you are so hands on in its coming about ..way to go dear lady , way to go..RESPECT :)))) ..as always dear Summer I have loved my visit here a serine place one can feel a calm befall ones self in a somewhat insane world beyond . as always dear Summer my respects to you , yours as always Ban :))))))))

What ya did'nt think I would leave without saying a hi to ya did ya big fella ..hahahahaha hi Mr Puddie what ya doing making like a bowl a fruit :))))))) hahahaha what ya like hahahahaha ...hi dear Summer just look at him , he's pushed his back legs through his front no doubt resting his head on his hind quarters ..... Harry Houdini ...who ...novice hahahaha...Mr Houdini wishes he had Mr Puddies flexability ,cats have thirty 30 vertebrae, minus their tails, which vary and increase the count to 48 to 53 vertebrae...they can twist 180 degree amazing creatures and as you know dear Summer an all time favorite of all creatures with me..only the hand of a God could create such symmetry a creature with some 260 ish bones in its structure putting we mere mortals in the shade with our 206 bones in our structure ..Every time I see him one is reminded of how he once was , and just look at him now ,talk about getting ya feet under the table ..or in the fruit bowl hahahaha ..you have done wonders with him dear Summer absolute wonders when one remembers how he was that bag of bones that took shelter in your garden and the aggression that stemmed from obvious abuse , but you stuck with him took the bites and the scratches and I mean scratches he meant business when he lashed out and you have the scars to prove it , but your love , more love , and even more love when most would have just called it a day and your endless patience won the day , you have even sorted out his upper respiratory condition out using traditional native American herbal remedies it was one lucky day for him when he stumbled into your garden ...and hows he thank ya ..he sleeps in ya WAS fruit bowl and brings ya whole kills..hahahahaha every girls dream ... soggy rats and live mice , what more could a girl ask for...just pray they don't start letting sheep or cows in the meadows behind you dear lady , or you will be awoken to the repeated banging of his cat flap as he tries to take mummy a BIG pressie hahahahaha..he may be a bxxxxr but he sure loves his mummy now :)))))..amazing share and capture dear Summer , its soooooooo good to see him so well and to see what love and dedication can achieve..thanks for sharing Mr Puddies antics with us :))))) hes a gem his mum too for giving him the much needed break in life he sooooooo needed ...:)))))))) its big hugs to the big fella from me and my as always respects to you dear Summer ...yours as always Ban :))))))))) ^~~^
