its done! a finish! baby Afghan Block # 13

A Finish at last :)

its been a very long time since I started this stoney creek woodland baby Afghan,

Oct 2013! but it's finally finished, I'm very pleased with it and it was a joy to make.

I never expected it to take this long when I started but there have been some interruptions with house renovations and decorating!
and me switching from one project to another :)

I Have started to put the cotton backing on and will sew it tomorrow

I Think it will look nice with a backing on,

Framed at last

Happy hump day to all :))) here we are again another week nearly done and a new month!

OCTOBER already! soon be xmas hahaha OMG I don't know where this year has gone and I don't remember seeing much of summer lol

Well, at last I got round to getting my Summer and Winter cats framed...Summer cat has only been waiting a year lol but they're done now and they did a lovely job at the framers. I did my best at taking photos of them but is impossible to get a clear photo of them without the glass glare and reflections, sorry about that, hope you like them :))

A Total Re Vamp

Well hello everyone :)

its been a very long time since I've been on here and NOooo I haven't been cocooned and eaten by the Ermine caterpillars hahaha my house is having a total re vamp so I have been very busy with decorating throughout, 

you know what its like, you start one room and end up doing the whole house

LOL 

Talking of caterpillars, all that were on the hedge in May turned into the beautiful white moths and flew away :) I was lucky enough to see them, they were very very tiny.

I wont be back until sometime in the Autumn when hopefully things will all be done and I can relax and enjoy my crafts again :)

Until then, I wish you all a wonderful summer time and enjoy whatever it is you're doing

I made this Autumn tote with one side beautiful autumn reds and oranges

 and the other blues and reds,

Hi All :)

Here is my first Tapestry, I wasn't sure what to do with it now that it is finished so I decided to just put it on one of my craft box lids :)

Storms and Rugs

Hi All, hope you've all had a lovely weekend :) 

The sun has shone today for the first time in weeks and it was lovely to get outside for awhile, even if it was just to mend fence panels after Fri/sat storms.

The rest of the of the day was spent finishing my cats rug :) 

To Finish it off I sewed Rug Binding to the edge and stitched it at the back to secure it, now it's ready for my cat to lay on :) it's lovely and warm and fluffy :)

Doing a happy dance

I'm doing a happy dance as my winter cat is finally done

woo hoo LOL at last after 6 months of stitching its done :) so much for my rotation plan haha the plan was to do a week of all my ongoing projects but once I started winter cat again I had to keep going till I finished it as it was so close to the end :)

 YAY

now I have to take it to the framers along with  summer cat

to get them both framed and can hang proudly on the wall :)

My Cushion is done

Hi all :)

Well my cushion is done and the back sewn on and it was my first project on my sewing machine, I think I need to find some small projects to sew so I can get used to the feel of the machine.

it was nice to see it all come together and be a cushion
