Framed at last

Happy hump day to all :))) here we are again another week nearly done and a new month!

OCTOBER already! soon be xmas hahaha OMG I don't know where this year has gone and I don't remember seeing much of summer lol

Well, at last I got round to getting my Summer and Winter cats framed...Summer cat has only been waiting a year lol but they're done now and they did a lovely job at the framers. I did my best at taking photos of them but is impossible to get a clear photo of them without the glass glare and reflections, sorry about that, hope you like them :))

Doing a happy dance

I'm doing a happy dance as my winter cat is finally done

woo hoo LOL at last after 6 months of stitching its done :) so much for my rotation plan haha the plan was to do a week of all my ongoing projects but once I started winter cat again I had to keep going till I finished it as it was so close to the end :)

 YAY

now I have to take it to the framers along with  summer cat

to get them both framed and can hang proudly on the wall :)

Baby Chipmunk Start

Hi All :)

Well last week was baby chipmunk week and this is the progress so far,

he's going to be a cutie :)

I'm glad I had a break from the Afghan and did some latch hook as this is another BROWN baby so soon after the squirrel which was also BROWN!

 lol

Next week it's back to my winter cat project for one week.

I SO want to get that one done..especially now because I need the frame for my Tapestry cats

The Mice Will play...

Hi All :)

Today my Latch Hook kit turned up :) its a Rug with cats and mice on and looks fun to make.

This will be my second Latch Hook project.

my first, the cushion I got really addicted too and finished within a week

lol

but this time I intend to do one week of this, one week of my winter cat and one week of my baby Afghan, so I will have a variety of things to do :) variety is the spice of life haha

so my winter cat may not be finished in February, it may be march but who cares as long as I'm enjoying what I'm doing :)

Winter Cat update 6

just a quick update on winter cat, this is how it looks today, I'll be working on this one for awhile just to get it finished so I can get on with my English Rose that's waiting in my stash drawer :)

Winter Cat Update 5

Hi All, Here is an update on winter cat, its coming along but still a bit to do before I can get started on English Rose. I have another project planned as well as English Rose so I will be going back and forth between the two. I will post about that one at a later date.

Working on black

I work with black fabrics allot, many of my projects are worked on black or coloured fabrics, I very rarely use white unless I'm doing a small project as I find white very harsh on the eye's especially if it is a project to be worked on for hours at a time, so I use coloured ones, but I have a tip for anyone working on black or dark colours is to place a white towel on your lap as you stitch, it makes the holes allot easier to see and so stitching is easier with fewer mistakes :)

Winter Cat update 4

Hi All :) just another quick update on winter cat. I cant believe another week has flown by and its the weekend again..soon be xmas hahaha :) well, this is what I achieved this week in my stitching, just a small bit more down this left hand side then I can start on the other side of the face next week :)

Hi All :) just another update on winter cat, a few more berries to add and some work down the side and it will be this page finished. Then onto page two which is obviously the same in reverse then there are two top pages to do, not as much stitching as on these two pages, then winter cat will be done :) Happy day to all who stop by.

Here is a quick update of winter cat and the outlining of the berries in the Ivy, there's not allot of outlining in this picture I'm pleased to say :) its not my fave thing so I'm doing it as I go along.

Winter Cat Update 2

Hi all :) This is winter cat today 1st sep, its coming along and I'm now in a hurry to finish it so I can start my next project.. English Rose :) I don't like having more than one project on the go at any one time... I like to finish one before I start another, I find the change from one chart and colors to another too confusing..so onwards with my winter cat :) Happy Sunday to all who visit.
