Simple but so sweet..

The SO sweet Carnation,
I love this flower and its my birth month flower :)
I made these with white Ribbon and painted them,

No two flowers are the same, the fold of the ribbon making each flower unique in its own right and also painting them makes them different by adding light or dark shades wherever you want making the whole picture unique to the creator.

I love black backgrounds, I think it brings out the colours so much more than white,
I've used black many times in cross stitch and the results were always beautiful.

Happy Crafting

  6. They may be simple to you; but they don't look simple at all. They are wonderful and I love them against the black background. It does help to make them pop and take notice. I have looked back over your past blog post and I love all the things you create.

  7. Hiya dear Summer , oooohhhh dear lady what a gift to the world you truly are :))))).. and what a striking display you present before us here . the black background yields all to the gorgeous carnations , and your giving of individuality to each flower so personalizes the display . Wonderful dear lady so wonderful . such beauty can be found in that , that is allowed to be unto its self .The poem from King John 1595 so transpires said , I'll tag it on the end dear Summer , basically it says why try improve on whats already perfect :)))).. which brings me back to your divine display , which speak for themselves in there beauty , your knowledge of the subject , and your creative soul , a truly beautiful share dear Summer :))))).You learn VERY quickly dear Summer , but then you are abundant in ALL creativity dearest Summer , , it is VERY much a part of whom you are , it was but the new knowledge you sought in this medium me thinks dear Summer , for to create is to breath for Summer :))))).. stunning display dear lady , my late mothers favorite flower :)))) .. ..... and that poem dear Summer
    King John 1595
    SALISBURY:
Therefore, to be possess'd with double pomp,
To guard a title that was rich before,
To gild refined gold, to paint the lily,
To throw a perfume on the violet,
To smooth the ice, or add another hue
Unto the rainbow, or with taper-light
To seek the beauteous eye of heaven to garnish,
    Is wasteful and ridiculous excess.

As always dearest Summer I remain yours respectfully Ban :))))))
